How to Register:

Summer 2009 registration will begin March 24, 2009 at noon.

Colorado State Students:

Students currently enrolled in degree programs at Colorado State University may register for Summer Session courses according to the registration procedures listed on RAMweb: http://RAMweb.colostate.edu.

Directions for Registration using RAMweb

  1. Log into RAMweb at http://ramweb.colostate.edu
  2. Enter your eName and ePassword.
  3. Before registering for classes, you will need to complete the items under Registration Ready. You will be asked to answer questions or complete tasks that are applicable to you.
  4. Once you have completed all of your tasks, the Registration Ready hold will automatically be lifted.
  5. You are now ready to register for classes.
  6. Click on Registration.
  7. This will take you to the Add or Drop Classes page.
  8. Enter the 5 digit Course Reference Numbers (CRNs) in the boxes on the Add Classes Worksheet for the courses for which you wish to register.
  9. Click Submit Changes.
  10. All successfully added courses will appear under Current Schedule with a status of Registered or Registered on Web with the date.
  11. Any courses for which registration was not successful will appear just above the Add Classes Worksheet and will be identified with a red circle and the heading of Registration Add Errors. The Status will list the reason the registration was not successful. Clicking on the CRN link will take you to the Class Schedule page for that course for more information.

Summer-Only Students for Summer Session:

Students attending Summer Session who do not plan to complete a degree at Colorado State are classified as Summer-Only Students. Summer-Only Students wanting to register for summer courses must first complete the online Application for Summer Session and create their eID in order to complete the on-line registration process. Click on Summer Only Students for more information.

Important:

  1. Summer-Only Students, HOLDs are placed on your registration until you provide an email address to the University. Go to the http://eid.colostate.edu link to submit your email address. Once you have established your eID you will be able to register for classes.

  2. For courses with prerequisites and restrictions, you may need to secure approval to enroll in the course/s. Call the academic department that offers the course. A listing of telephone numbers is available under Phone Numbers.
